IGSSA SWIMMING CARNIVAL – 25TH MARCH 2022
COMPETITORS BUS WILL LEAVE THE AVENUE BUS BAY AT 6.15AM
All team members are to be on this bus. Please be at school 6.10am
Team members will require transport home by parents as there are no spectator buses due to COVID

PARENTS MAY ATTEND AND WILL NEED TO COLLECT YOUR DAUGHTER after her event.
This will be around 12.30-1.00pm unless your daughter has made a final.
Please ensure your daughter gets her name marked off with Mr Morrissey.

SENIOR SWIMMING CARNIVAL
Date: Tuesday 1st February 2022
Venue: Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre (Bexley pool) Preddys Rd Bexley
Program :2022 Dbank swim program
THIS CARNIVAL WILL BE RUN AS A COMPETITORS ONLY CARNIVAL TO SELECT A TEAM FOR IGSA CARNIVAL DUE TO COVID REGULATIONS
There will be no relay events and will be FINALS ONLY.
Transport: Private transport encouraged.
If you make your own way to the pool – you must be there by 8.00am. Alternatively buses are available to go to/from the carnival. The buses WILL LEAVE school before 8am so need to be at school 7.45am. If you wish to get the bus there or back (or both), please let your house patron know at house meeting.
ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A MASK FOR BUS TRAVEL
Parents are able to drop and pick up students from venue but are unable to attend.
NO PARENTS OR SUPPORTERS DUE TO COVID
In regards to the school swimming costume: If you do not have a school costume you may wear a suitable racing costume- bikinis not acceptable.
Racing swim suits allowed
REMINDER PHONES are NOT TO BE SEEN or you will risk confiscation of the phone
THERE WILL BE NO CANTEEN FACILITIES AVAILABLE SO PLEASE BRING OWN FOOD AND DRINKS
NO ORDERING OF FOODS OUTSIDE THE POOL
Facilities: There is little shelter for sun/rain so suggest to bring hats, umbrellas/small tents and also chairs if wanted
What to bring: Wear PE uniform, MASK, School costumes compulsory or racing suit, towel, cap, goggles, hat, underwear, SUNSCREEN, food, drink.
No streamers, zinc or balloons please.
