IGSA Softball 2022

Welcome to what should be an exciting 1st term of Sport in 2022 at Danebank.

Please see below details on the IGSA Term 1 Softball Season.

Team Lists: Please refer to the team lists send earlier for 2022. There are five teams in total. 3 teams (for students in years 10-12 (DAN01, DAN02, DAN03), and 2 teams comprising students in years 8-9 (DAN04, DAN05).

Draws: Draws have can be viewed by visiting the IGSA Spawtz page.  https://igsasport.spawtz.com/

Venue Details: Please see emails for details on all venues being used for each Sport. Please allow time for parking and traffic.

Covid-19 Sport Protocols (i.e. spectators etc): Covid-19 protocols will be accessible through email as this differs depending on the venue, and any updated protocols will be advised via email.

Training: Please refer to either email or the Sport notice board for the training schedule for this term.

Uniform for Training & Games (All items can be purchased from the school uniform shop – click here to see the opening hours).

Non-Attendance at Matches: Please complete the non-attendance at Tennis link sent via email for any match you are not able to attend (compulsory pre-arranged commitment that can’t be moved or any illness that could be covid-19 related).

Signing On: Please ensure you sign on at the venue convenor each week. Girls who don’t sign on for a minimum of 3 matches during the regular season can’t play Semi and Grand Finals.

Punctuality: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the commencement time of your game/match to meet your coach, warm up and prepare for play. Be sure to allow time for travel, parking and to navigate the playing field/court/pool.

Team / Sporting Spirit: A positive, encouraging, considerate attitude towards your team members at all times. Displaying fair play with opposition players, coaches and officials regardless of the final score.

Communication: It is Important to communicate with Sport staff any issues, concerns, unavailability, injury matters.
